This is required to ascertain the time required for auditing the organization. Also this information is required for ascertaining the competence requirements for the auditors.

  • Quotation

On the basis of information received in the form of completed questionnaire, quotation is prepared and submitted to the client organization for acceptance. The Quotations are prepared on the basis of a uniform policy after deciding the efforts required to audit the Organ
The quotation indicates the frequency for surveillance visits as well as terms and conditions for grant and maintenance of certification. The quotation is also accompanied by a copy of our certification criteria. After acceptance of the terms and conditions for the quotation, the client organization is required to submit a copy of the signed agreement along with the application fee. The receipt of agreement enables to register the organization as our client. A unique identification No. is allotted to every organization on receipt of agreement and application fee.

  • INITIAL AUDIT

AGSI-CPL conducts initial audit in two stages: Stage 1 and Stage 2

  • - Stage 1 audit
    a) The purpose of Stage 1 audit is to determine organization's degree of readiness for the Stage 2 audit
    b) Stage 1 audit includes a Review of client's documentation
The objectives are to review the management system documentation, as prepared by the organization. This shall include the mandatory documents require by the Standard/s and the documents additionally prepared by the organization and may include:
  • • Quality Manual
  • • Procedures
  • • Work Instructions
  • The review involves checking that the documented information as required by the standards' requirements is available, that all information is consistent, in a controlled state, and distributed for implementation.
    c) Stage 1 audit is carried out at least partially onsite

    - Stage 2 audit

Stage 2 audit is conducted onsite to evaluate implementation, including effectiveness, of the client's management system.

The Audit findings are categorized into following grades:

  • • Minor Non Conformances
  • • Major Non Conformances
  • Any isolated case of deficiency in the system which does not affect the product conformity or customer satisfaction is graded as Minor Non Compliance. Any nonconformance which indicates a total lapse of applicable requirement of the standard and is considered critical to the operation of the management system is graded as major nonconformance.

    - Certificate

Once any corrections have been completed, the next stage is presentation of the certificate. Certificate has a validity period of 3 years subject to satisfactory maintenance of the quality system by the client.

    - URVEILLANCE AUDITS

In order to verify the continuing compliance of activities of the client organization to the requirements, we conduct the surveillance audits periodically. Surveillance audits are conducted for selected areas; the selected areas are decided in a manner so that we verify each element of the standard at least once in a period of three years. Certain important areas are audited during each surveillance visit.

    - Re-Certification

After three years, a re-certification audit takes place. As we have been working with you for the preceding period(s), the re-certification assessment is usually of a shorter duration and therefore of a lower cost.

    - Expanding Scope

AGSI shall, in response to an application for expanding the scope of a certification already granted, undertake a review of the application and determine any audit activities necessary to decide whether or not the extension may be granted. This may be conducted in conjunction with a surveillance audit.
